Harvest Moon Evening Event in Marlow 29th September
By living in harmony with the seasons we can live a much more balanced, flowing and fulfilling life.
Join us on Friday evening 29th September in Marlow to celebrate the start of a new season with inspirational mindfulness sessions, fashion shows, rejuvenating beauty treatments, hair and make-up stations, tarot reading, vision boards and crystals. Selected stores will be staying open late offering drinks and canapes to attendees of our event.
The Harvest Moon represents a chance to embrace new opportunities, create goals for the next season, finish up projects we started in the summer and reflect on our progress. We can use this time to slow down and replenish after a busy summer, focus on the mind, body and daily rituals, leaving behind any negative habits that no longer serve us.
An evening to inspire, enjoy and support your growth, connecting to the natural rhythm of the earth and ourselves.
Arlo & Jacob will become our runway for the evening, a fantastic space to relax on a gorgeous sofa and enjoy the new season collections of the local boutiques in Marlow High Street. Be the first to see the hand selected pieces for A/W by Sansom Reed, Twenty Three Living, Jigsaw, My Best Friend’s Wardrobe, Jacu & new vintage store Valse Collection. The team at Harringtons Hair Salon will be our hair partner for the evening creating looks for the shows, watch them in action at the show’s hair station.
Sweaty Betty will be our wellness hub for the evening with a guided meditation by Laura, Founder of Wise Alchemy. This session will help you become clear on your achievements of the last 6 months, followed by a journalling session to set intentions for the next 6 months. Through the meditation you can connect to the energies of Laura’s beautiful crystals to cleanse, heal, and ground yourself. Followed by a candle making workshop with Danielle the founder of Brûler Candles where you will be able to make your own candle with your personal affirmation The perfect way to set your intention under the Full Moon and have that reminder to take home with you.
Nova Art Gallery will be exhibiting artists work with a fashion theme as well as providing a pop-up space for independent fashion designers. Emily Crook takes inspiration from fashion, culture, pop & street art merged with icons from popular. Jenny Beattie makes hats, creating sculptures for the head; mixing traditional millinery techniques with innovative processes to produce striking and wearable art. Sophie McGowan is the founder of EARSASS, a fashion stylist with a love of big, bold and beautiful earrings, Meet them and shop their new collection at their first ever pop-up in Marlow
Susie Watson Design Studio and Arlo & Jacob will be giving talks and sharing mood boards on how to turn our homes into the perfect cosy space as we stay at home more for the winter. New home & gifts store Nook will be holding a vision board session for the coming 6 months.
All attendees will receive a season foodie fact sheet on what we should be eating as we move into A/W from the team at The Oarsman Bistropub, headed by Michelin-star winning chef Scott Smith. The Oarsman & The Botanist will be giving a 20% discount for the night and creating a seasonal cocktail for our attendees.
The Mixing Jug will be our beauty hub with Laura Rudoe, founder of Evolve Organic Beauty sharing her wealth of beauty knowledge in a restorative skincare workshop using their newly launched Blue Tansy Balm. Learn Face Yoga with Tamu and some take home healthy habits for sculpting & toning your face.
Dress up for the evening and have your outfit captured by artist Lizzie Owen, who will be doing live illustrations, take home a beautiful keepsake of the evening. Lizzie has a background in fashion so can add a touch of glamour and elegance to even your favourite old pair of jeans.
Fullards Jewellers will be offering a free jewellery cleaning service on the night, get rid of the suncream and soap build up and get those diamonds sparkling again.
Hair, skincare and make up stations will be throughout the high street, with a chance to speak to experts, get advice and try out new products. Our skin and hair need some -TLC after all that summer heat so there will be plenty of opportunities to pick up tips, tricks and treats all evening.

Everyone will be offered a Sorbon Spritz or Marlow Mule cocktail on arrival, alcohol or non-alcohol drinks created for the night.
